Lightning Talks

Information for #heweb19 lightning talk presenters

Lightning talks are 10-minute rapid-fire presentations that are presented to the entire HighEdWeb audience after lunch on Tuesday, October 15.

There are five lighting talk presentations, introduced by an “emcee” to keep the program moving. The best lightning talks focus on one idea, big or small, and explain that concept or idea to an audience of web and digital professionals with varying skillsets. Lightning talks have focused on everything from information security to web writing, podcasting to accessibility.

All lightning talk presenters will be asked to attend a “run through” and to provide their presentation to conference AV support, to ensure that the changes between presenters go smoothly. You’ll be contacted with more specifics as we get close to October.
