Program Overview
A note from the Program Chair:
The program committee is proud to announce the 2005 lineup of presentations. There are four main tracks that will each have eight presentations. There are also ten half-hour showcase presentations (most of which go along with one of the track themes) that deliver a lot of info in a short period of time. There will also be quite a few poster presentations, which has become a favorite session for many of us.
- Content: Strategy & Design (CSD)
- Content: Tools & Planning (CTP)
- Management, E-commerce & Applications (MEA)
- Technical: Propeller Hats Required (TPR)
- Corporate Partner Track (COR)
A special feature of the conference is that the best presentation of each track is repeated on the last day so that all attendees can have the opportunity to attend some of the best sessions if they missed them.
The program will also include the opportunity for networking and special interest group discussions. We feature optional pre- and post-conference workshops that are always highly rated by attendees.
I would be remiss if I did not mention that we always have a lot of fun and that social functions are built into the program to ensure that all attendees have many opportunities for networking and sharing with colleagues.

Social Events
Each HighEdWebDev conference offers ample opportunity to get to know your fellow Web developers, to share ideas and solutions, and to just have a good time. Opening and closing receptions and catered meals create a relaxed atmosphere for conference-goers. This year, attendees will visit George Eastman House, one of the nation's pre-eminent museums of photography and home to one of the largest motion picture archives in the world. Past excursions have included wine tours, museum trips, movie nights, even a beach party!
